AtlanTecRF is committed to meeting the requirements of the Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament which took effect from July 1st 2006.

WEEE Compliance

AtlanTecRF is a member of the WeeeCare Compliance Scheme (EA approved registration no. WEE/MP3538PZ/SCH) and therefore fulfil their obligations in accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2006.

Conflict-free Mineral Trade

Atlantic Microwave Ltd is committed to responsible sourcing, acknowledging the requirements to seek initiatives to ensure conflict-free mineral trade.

We recognise the reports of human rights abuse in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and our sourcing policy is to procure product not derived from sources that finance or benefit groups in the DRC or adjoining countries.

We aim to encourage our supply chain to support the implementation of OECD Due Diligence Guidance.

REACH Compliance

European Regulation No 1907/2006 "REACH" (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals), came into force on 1st June 2007. Its aims are the regulation and use of chemical substances within the European Union, especially those Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC's).

Atlantic Microwave Ltd is committed to meeting our legal obligations under REACH, and has procedures in place with suppliers, to provide continual assessment of products with regard to compliance with the regulations, especially for the presence of SVHC's.

All products manufactured and distributed by Atlantic Microwave Ltd, fall under the category of "Articles" within the REACH regulations, and there is no "intentional release" of any substances or SVHCs. Registration of these products is not required.

Counterfeit Materials Prevention Statement

Atlantic Microwave Ltd (AML) recognises its responsibility to continually improve our Quality Management System and procurement procedures to eliminate the risk of counterfeit material inadvertently being introduced in our supply chain.

Our objective is to put measures in place to eliminate risk:

  • We shall continue to carry out inspection and quality control testing to eliminate the risk of counterfeit parts/material being delivered to our customers
  • We will continue to work with our Approved Supply base, to ensure our principles and objectives are communicated
  • We shall inform our customers of any issues we find in relation to counterfeit product/materials and the information will be reported and actions taken with all necessary parties throughout the supply chain

Modern Slavery Policy

Atlantic Microwave Ltd recognises our moral and social responsibility to take a zero-tolerance approach to slavery in all forms. We all have a responsibly to be alert to the risks, in our business and in the wider supply chain.

The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and strives for transparency within the organisation and with our suppliers, supplying goods and services to our organisation.
